Chapter 1

My reborn daily life was quite fulfilling.
As soon as I woke up in the morning I did some gymnastics and started practicing vocalization.
In addition I didn’t forget to watch TV and practice various acting skills.
Why do you need to study acting?
It was for desirable RP.
What RP is so to speak is a mask and concept to use when working as a vertuber.
In other words it could be said to be the setting of the Virtuber character.
Among vertubers there were some who kept this RP well and many who did not.
For reference in my case I tend to get cold feet when I see a vertuber who doesn’t follow the RP.
How is this different from just a streamer?
‘Even though I say this I haven’t actually seen many Virtubers.’
Because I was an office worker who was pressed for time I couldn’t watch it often and even if I did all I did was watch videos posted by Shorts and Clippers.
‘I should have looked harder then.’
As the industry had not yet been properly established it was difficult to know what to do.
First of all what is important is vocalization and acting.
Of course if you want to be a streamer you have to have talent…
‘It’s difficult to get a feel for broadcasting skills unless you try it.’
It was a difficult situation in many ways.
Since ancient times whether you are a streamer or a Virtuber thinking about content is the most important part.
If you plan ahead now you won’t have to worry about it in the future.
‘You’re probably good at games right?’
Wouldn’t it be natural for a body possessed by an old man to have reflexes of another level?
So I didn’t care about the game-related parts.
‘But what’s the benefit of RP?’
Well roughly speaking thinking about the Virtuber concept was fun in many ways.
This kind of time will decrease when I enter kindergarten next year so it was good to do it in advance.
‘Hmm if you think about it if you’re a Virtuber you can do it in the form of a man.’
Since the male ego was still stronger that part came to mind but I quickly shook my head.
I was born with a good voice so it would be stupid to ruin my strengths like that.
That’s how I faithfully do it every day.
It was around this time that routines that I would not have been able to get tired of even for a month in my previous life became habits.
“Do you want to audition for my daughter as a child actor?”
Her mother suddenly said something like that.
***
“Even though it’s an open audition it’s true….”
Casting director Kim Hyung-seok scratched his head and sighed.
It was an audition prepared to find a child actor for this commercial but he couldn’t avoid the feeling that he had made a mistake.
“Wouldn’t it have been easier to just use a more famous child actor?”
Kim Hyung-seok shook his head at one staff member’s words.
“Would that be easy? “The budget is not enough. It can’t be done.”
“What kind of advertiser is so salty….”
The staff grumbled but there was nothing they could do.
To begin with it wasn’t an advertisement for a large company; it was a job given by a small medium-sized company.
Kim Hyung-seok had been working as a casting director for quite some time but cases like this were really rare.
In these cases people just ran advertisements on the Internet and there were very few cases where they tried to film a commercial using money they didn’t have.
Even the person who sits as the CF director is a rookie without much experience no matter how you look at it.
‘Just looking at it it looks like a parachute.’
Without a guess unless you actually have some level of connection someone that young won’t be given the job of directing a CF.
It was all done cheaply.
Does it make sense that the person with the most money is yourself the casting director?
It was fortunate that the studio was properly prepared.
As if the novice CF director knew this he greeted Kim Hyeong-seok first.
“Haha please take care of that. “It wasn’t long ago that I moved into the advertising design field.”
“Oh yes first of all from what I received from the advertiser let’s work hard together.”
“Ah haha.”
Kim Hyung-seok clicked his tongue at the sight of the man smiling awkwardly.
What was his name? Was it Jo Min-tae?
Of course Jo Min-tae had no way of knowing whether Kim Hyung-seok was thinking that way so he spoke to him in a friendly way.
“Oh caddy. “Have you checked the profiles of the children who participated in today’s audition?”
“Profile. Oh yes. “I saw something but…”
When auditioning for child actors profile photos provide limited information.
This is especially true if it is an open audition like now.
“This is so bad because I can’t see my teeth. “I’ll have to check them one by one.”
This is especially critical when shooting ‘food’ advertisements like this one.
In the case of children’s auditions teeth often fall out and in such cases it is difficult to make the advertisement look good so people tend to avoid them.
“Ah you guessed the age to be roughly between five and seven years old right?”
“yes. “I guess that’s the age range that advertisers want…”
It is difficult for children under the age of five to communicate and those over the age of eight do not fit the image.
Among them Kim Hyeong-seok chose one child who stood out and presented it to him.
“Did this kid come to the audition?”
“Let’s see… I don’t think they’re here yet?”
“Oh really? “I really wish you would come.”
Kim Hyung-seok glanced at Jo Min-tae’s regretful response and checked his profile.
‘She’s five years old… and her face is definitely nice.’
The eye color was strangely unique.
It looked brown but the pigment was missing so it looked red at first glance.
Just looking at his appearance he was honestly startling.
So much so that I can understand why Jo Min-tae posted this kid’s profile.
“You know that a pretty child is not good right?”
“Oh of course I know.”
Kim Hyung-seok nodded as he saw Jo Min-tae talking jokingly.
Then he pulled down the blinds and saw parents and children just entering the audition room.
Each child had a confident face as if they thought their child was the prettiest.
‘It seems like there aren’t that many experienced people so it’s going to be rather intense.’
And just as Kim Hyeong-seok thought there was a war of nerves going on inside the audition.
“Oh Miyeon’s mother is here too.”
“I think I saw you at the last audition but I’m seeing you again. “Hello Hyunsu too~.”
We greeted each other with a smile but it was a conversation that involved stabbing each other.
‘I’m here again as if I’m not embarrassed by the topic I failed on last time.’
‘Why don’t you just give up now? ‘Is your child just saying hello?’
There were people who came to the public audition window and among them was a child who had taken acting lessons at Manage.
“Our Jiyeon is different from those kids. “You know right?”
“Your mom.”
Jiyeon Lee puffed out her chest at her mother’s words and looked at her surroundings.
Unlike other children who were shivering Jiyeon had a quite confident attitude.
‘Because I’m already in management.’
Of course it is not that big of a place yet.
However compared to the kids who had never tried acting properly she had received some proper education.
‘Our Jiyeon has the prettiest face too.’
Ji-yeon’s mother Hong Jin-hee looked around her for a moment and then clicked her tongue briefly.
What is children’s makeup?
I guess that means you don’t understand what a child actor is at all.
‘I could easily be cast at this level.’
This is our Jiyeon’s first job.
Didn’t her daughter’s galaxy entertainment agency also say that?
If Jiyeon were of her level of skill she would be able to easily pass a small audition like this.
It was just an audition I participated in for experience and to build a small career.
It rattled.
While she was thinking that the door to her waiting room opened.
Hong Jin-hee who happened to be close to the door inadvertently looked away.
“…!”
She was a cute girl with long black hair neatly down.
What stands out about her is her strangely colored eyes.
In addition her smooth face and straight appearance were prettier than any child actress Hong Jin-hee had seen in her entertainment.
However Hong Jin-hee would not have been so surprised if she had simply noticed her appearance.
‘Is there something different about the atmosphere?’
A strangely detached feeling.
Although she was different from the aura that the actors had it felt somehow similar.
‘Do you know who it is?’
‘Do I understand?’
As if she wasn’t the only one who felt that way her waiting room became even more noisy.
In the tumultuous atmosphere Seo-yeon’s mother Su-a smiled brightly.
“Oh my there are friends over there Seoyeon. But mom you know that Seoyeon is the prettiest right?”
Strangely enough it didn’t feel like she was a child as the person who was presumed to be her mother trudged in holding her hand.
Even to a mother’s words like that a typical child would have responded with a cute response like ‘Really??’ or ‘Hey don’t play around~’.
“yes.”
She was extremely firm as if she was saying something obvious.
It wasn’t just that I was pretty in her mother’s eyes it was a confident ‘yes’ that I was the prettiest in this audition room.
Thanks to this the mothers at the audition site had no choice but to wonder again who that child was.
I wonder if the child has already worked as an actor somewhere.
We briefly exchanged opinions about whether we had seen each other at other auditions but we were unable to obtain any information.
‘hmm.’
Looking at them Seoyeon crossed her arms and shook her head.
‘This is also an experience.’
Actor audition.
She was confused at first because it was honestly something she had never expected.
But when I thought about it again this was a good opportunity.
‘Isn’t this also acting?’
Later when she thought about when she debuted as a virtuber she thought it would be good to have this experience as well.
It will also help with RP and won’t talking to people increase your conversational skills?
‘You can make use of stories such as appearing in a commercial when you were young or having experience as a child actor.’
So Seoyeon was happy with the results of this audition.
‘Of course I’m the prettiest.’
Her TS looks are invincible.
She’s an ordinary girl and she wouldn’t dare rub against her.
Apart from him she knows that auditions don’t mean she gets selected based on her looks alone.
So Seoyeon calmly sat down in the empty seat.
She didn’t feel any of the tension that a normal child would have in her actions.
She asked ‘Is she also used to auditions like this?’
‘Or… she might really be a kid from management.’
There was no manager in sight but for child actors her mother often took on the job.
So it wouldn’t be strange at all if Seoyeon was a manager or a child actress belonging to a large entertainment company.
‘Our Seoyeon is also resolute.’
While her mother and several other officials were chatting Su-ah Seo-yeon’s mother just kept stroking Seo-yeon’s round head.
She just thought her daughter was the cutest.
