“Hundreds and millions of dollars of gambling money was confiscated ! Aaron and the other higher–ups were arrested as well!”

Rachel kept watch of Flutwell Hotel in case something would happen, but she didn‘t actually think that anything would actually happen, let alone something this terrifying

Harvey sat up straight. A frown appeared on his face.

“Flutwell Hotel‘s been taken down?”

Harvey was planning to do something similar, though he wanted to see what kind of statement Nolan would give after giving up. Not only did that plan fail, but the Flutwell Hotel was also taken down, with the higher–ups all arrested.

In other people‘s eyes, this seemed like Harvey‘s revenge!

“Someone‘s trying to make me the scapegoat…”

Harvey laughed.

“It‘d be weird if the Bharata Business Council didn‘t blame me for this.”

Rachel had a horrible expression; she couldn‘t even smile. “After such a big conflict, anyone would put the blame on us!”

“Before, we said we‘d call the cops!” “Even if we didn‘t actually do such a thing, there‘s no way for us to refute.”

“I contacted Ansel just now. He said he didn‘t know about this, either. Apparently , a lower branch was in charge of the case.”

“The procedures, reasoning, clues, and other details seemed pretty fair as well. The higher – ups weren‘t able to find anything fishy about it.”

“But… Not only did they not ask for Ansel‘s permission to do something like this, but they even made it so that everyone in Flutwell knew about it. There‘s no way anyone without a strong background and support could pull this off.” Harvey smiled.

“One problem after another…”

“Someone‘s trying to force my hand against the Bharata Business Council.”

“They‘re even using Cody to kill me at this point…”
