Upon hearing Jeff’s words, the man with a buzzcut was filled with pride. He naturally knew that things were going to end this way.

Elanor’s eyes twitched while holding the phone. She wanted to say something, but she couldn’t utter a single word.

She had been extremely loyal to Jeff, but she didn’t imagine he never cared about her life at all when he was plotting against Harvey.

Jeff wouldn’t even feel a thing if she died after being dragged into the crossfire….

Elanor felt her heart growing colder at this very moment.

“Make sure to remember who the master is?”

Harvey casually grabbed Elanor’s phone. He smiled as he replied to Jeff on the other side.

“Only I have the right to say that. Not you.”

“So what if I beat the shit out of your lackey right now?”

Bam!

Harvey instantly sent the man flying with a single kick; the man slammed right into a wall. Nobody knew if he was alive or not after such a violent attack…

Even if he was, all of his bones were definitely broken; he was destined to be a cripple for the rest of his life.

“If this happens another time, not only will I beat up the lackey, I’ll beat up the master too,” Harvey calmly said.

Jeff’s face darkened in an instant.

Jeff wanted to give Harvey another taste as well as show some strength.

But he never imagined that….

He was going to be disrespected again!

The place was dead silent; the bodyguards couldn’t believe what they heard from Harvey.

They didn’t think there would be someone this dominant in Flutwell.

But after remembering Jeff being slapped around before, they found all this to be expected.

After a long while, Elanor came back to her senses.

“How could you do something like this to Young Master Bauer, Sir York?” she exclaimed, her voice stuttering.

“Respect goes both ways, CEO Stanton.”

“I already gave him mine…”

“But what can I do if he keeps disrespecting me?”

Harvey then casually hung up.

“If I can’t even hit his lackey, it’ll actually seem like I’m scared of him, won’t it?”

“Tell me: do you think that I’m scared of him? Or is it the other way around?”

Harvey leaned toward Elanor before showing her a faint smile.

“Besides, you’d be afraid to take the shares if I didn’t cripple that guy, right?” he whispered into her ear.

“If you’re willing to stand by my side, I wouldn’t mind helping you clean up the trash.”

“I do hope you know how to repay the favor.”

Harvey then turned around and left.

He couldn’t even be bothered to deal with the Indians.

He knew there would still be more of such attacks soon after.

He wouldn’t be able to get anything out of the small fries, either. That was why he decided to wait and see.

Two hours later, in the VIP sickroom of Flutwell People’s Hospital.

Jeff had a fearful expression when he squinted at the crippled man with a buzzcut lying on a stretcher. Elanor, who was there as well, looked extremely miserable.

After a long while, he suddenly laughed.

“Interesting! What an interesting man.”

“He just keeps on disgracing me.”

“Either he’s an actual maniac, or he’s extremely capable.”

“Judging from the circumstances, the latter fits him even more!”

“I think I’d definitely be able to climb the ranks with an ally like him!”

Jeff didn’t show any hostility toward Harvey. Rather, he seemed quite fond of Harvey.
