Chapter 5709

It had already been half an hour since Harvey was sitting in the interrogation room.

He figured that the arrangements he asked of Yvonne were just about done. All he needed to do was wait. However, he was still a little curious as the person he expected hadn’t shown up yet.

The situation in the outskirts was a lot more confusing than he initially thought. Stefan’s power was no less than extraordinary, too.

The door was kicked open. Three inspectors walked inside, and signaled the two in the room to leave. They then sat right in front of Harvey.

The inspector in the middle was a woman about twenty-five years old; she had short hair, with a beautiful face. She crossed her legs as she sat down, revealing black stockings that the two other inspectors couldn’t help but glance at.

Harvey looked curiously at the woman. Judging from the situation, he expected to see the second-in-command of the police station.

So, who was the woman in front of him?

“Let me introduce myself.”

The woman smiled at Harvey.

“I am Rae Higgs. I belong to the Wolven Tribe, and I’m also Billie’s cousin. I’m the deputy inspector of the Outskirts New District Police Station.

“You’re a smart man, so I’ll cut to the chase. I’m handling the case because of my status. That way, we’ll ensure fairness between all parties.

“Do you understand?”

Harvey smiled. “I do, but I’m not looking for that. I’m looking for justice. I do hope you understand.”

Rae tilted her head while squinting at Harvey, then smiled faintly.

“Since you’re so smart, you should know… There is no absolute justice in this world. Everything is relative to each other.

“It’s already good enough that you’re being treated fairly. So, are you ready to confess?”

The other two inspectors pulled out their laptop, pen, and paper to record everything Harvey was about to say.

Harvey shrugged, still smiling.

“Confess what? About the dizzy pill market? Or about Durin’s viral video?

“The police here are framing their good citizens. I’m sure you want that video taken down badly, right?”

Rae’s expression turned horrible after hearing those words. The other two inspectors’ faces darkened instantly as well.

Their script had no meaning, since Harvey had already taken the initiative.

Rae took a deep breath.

“You should know that it’s illegal to dish out slander on the internet.

“I don’t know how you made that video viral…but I suggest you take it down immediately. It’ll be good for both of us.”
