Chapter 5766
Asher’s expression changed instantly.
“If I let Evermore know that you’re the one who provided me with information about the dizzy pills and the organization,” Harvey went on, “what do you think they’d do?”
“Would they save you? Kill you? Maybe they’d make your life a living hell…” he added.
Harvey opened another can of soda, and put it in front of Asher.
After hearing those words, Asher wasn’t as stubborn as before.
“I don’t think I can get out of here alive, either,” he finally said, after taking a sip of the soda.
“With the crime I’ve committed… Even if I don’t end up dying, I’d be locked up here for decades anyway, right? If that’s the case, why should I tell you about Evermore?
“I wouldn’t want to die faster now, would I?”
Harvey smiled.
“It’s not impossible for you to walk out of here alive. If you’re willing to be a tainted witness, you’d be out of here after about three to five years.
“As long as you tell me all about Evermore, I can guarantee you that I’ll deal with their branch here. I’ll destroy every information about you, too.
“I’ll even give you money to start a new life. I may not be able to make you a rich heir, but it wouldn’t be hard for you to live the rest of your life in peace and quiet.
“It’s better to survive than to die, right? You of all people should understand.”
Asher froze; he didn’t think Harvey would be so reasonable.
“Forget it,” he replied after a chuckle.
“Even if you’re a God of War, going against Evermore… is just a dream.
“You want to eradicate the organization? You wouldn’t be able to do it even if you’ve lived ten times!”
Asher shot Harvey a disdainful glare.
“Wake up already. Take your innocence, and be a good person. I’ll be waiting for the day you die.”
Harvey smiled, then placed a name card in front of Asher. Asher froze when he saw the card.
“You’re the prince of South Light?” he said, shocked. “But that’s not enough! That identity isn’t enough to go against Evermore!”
Harvey chuckled, then pulled out a badge.
“Longmen’s young master? You’re him?!”
Asher’s pupils shrunk instantly as he stared at the badge. He didn’t think that Harvey would have two powerful identities.
“Not enough? There’s more…” Harvey said.
He brought out another badge.
Asher sprung out of his chair.
“The representative of the country’s Martial Arts Alliance?! You’re the man who single-handedly defeated all of India’s top talents?!”
Flutwell wasn’t that far from the outskirts, since they both resided in the west. Because of that, the residents here would sometimes know a lot more about certain things.
To Asher, Harvey’s first two identities weren’t as impressive as the last one.
“I see. No wonder you’re so confident…”
He looked deep into Harvey’s eyes.
“I thought only the legendary Head Coach had a chance against Evermore. Looks like you’re capable of that, too…”
