The market was not that big. The roads were not exactly spacious since there were no rules to follow.

Besides the fact that Harvey York had no intention of avoiding the group in front of him, Kyren Pedler instantly noticed him while looking confused.

“Why are you here?”

Harvey did not mind the encounter too much. After all, Kyren must have come here for his own reason.

It would be odd if he did not show up for the competition.

Harvey gave a slight nod as a form of greeting.

Kyren showed an odd look. He did not think Harvey would still be this indifferent even after seeing him here.

Then again, he had other things to do.

“I’m living in Saber Villa right now. You’ll know where it is after asking around.

“Come over later.”

Then, Kyren left with the others.

Harvey could hear a mix of pride, disdain, and concern in Kyren’s words.

He did not say anything about it, though. After asking the woman beside him the time and place of the competition, Harvey casually went there.

When he almost arrived at the stage, someone spoke up confusedly.

Harvey thought the voice sounded familiar when he turned around. Billie Higgs and Whitley Cobb were seen standing on the side.

A few people who seemed like bodyguards were also around them.

Billie and Whitley seemed excited. Whitley even considered using the opportunity to bring Harvey closer to her daughter.

Then again, Harlan Higgs had a different idea.

He strutted in front of Harvey before glaring at him coldly.

“Why are you here?! Don’t you know what this place is?!

“This is the border between Country H and the Warrior Tribe!

It’s a lawless place!

“People’s lives are at stake here!

Harvey let out a chuckle after hearing Harlan’s concern.

“Don’t worry, Uncle Harlan. I’m with friends.”

“Friends? The ones who gave you the No. 1 villa?”

Harvey gave a slight nod.

“The Surrey family…”

Harlan could not understand why the Surrey family would give Harvey a villa like that.

“I have to be responsible for your safety since I was the one who got you to the outskirts in the first place,” he said with a frown.

“You must be here to watch the competition, right?

“I can take you inside if you want.

“But make sure you stay by my side, no matter what.

“It’s too dangerous inside.”

Harvey looked at the clock before seeing it was almost time for the competition. He did want to look inside, but since he also wanted to keep the family safe, he nodded as a form of agreement.

Harlan seemed glad, as if he was looking at his promising child. He quickly waved his hand before entering the stage with Harvey and the others.
