Stefan didn’t seem to hear the intent in Amos’s words.

“No need to apologize, Young Master.

“Since this is your private banquet, you’re allowed to invite whoever you want.

“I’m just a consul. I have no control over you, anyway.”

Stefan emphasized his words quite a bit. Naturally, since Amos had been disrespecting him, he planned to repay the favor as well.
