Chapter 6126
“Amos fought Harvey a few times before and took quite a few losses…
“But not a single outsider knew about it.
“But today, he was completely disrespected in front of a crowd. Even his guest had to scurry out of the place because of Harvey.
“His plan was a complete failure. Under such circumstances, judging from his prideful attitude, it’s only natural for him to go all in.” Roue knocked on the table.
“That said, it might not be the wrong play either.
“After all, his reputation is down the drain at this point.
“Rather than constantly playing tricks on Harvey and getting bested every single time…..
“It’d probably be better to just fight him head-on!
“He might not lose if he shows the Smalt Sect’s true strength!
“That said, such a huge gamble would’ve never happened in the first place…
“Harvey’s no ordinary man at all.” Hannah’s thin lips curved.
“Of course not.
“Amos might lose this time as well.
“If that happens, Harvey would obtain the Nine Eyed Beads.
All of the secrets would be revealed to him as well.
“Our plans would be for naught if that’s the case.” Roue seemed as calm as usual after hearing Hannah’s words.
“If that’s the case, then are you still joining in or not?” he asked after finishing his tea.
“Of course I am. Why wouldn’t I?” Hannah wasn’t showing a lot of emotion.
“Judging from the news, Harvey didn’t agree to participate in the ceremony yet.
“But judging from the current situation, that’s probably bound to happen.
“It doesn’t matter if Harvey agrees or not; the outcome of the battle will be decided in the ceremony.
“It’s only natural that we both join in, no?” The next day, in the afternoon, the skies seemed a little gloomy as rain lightly drizzled down. The temperature of the outskirts lowered, as if it was already winter.
Harvey enjoyed his tea, sitting on his balcony while looking at the desert far away.
Light footsteps were heard behind him.
“Mr. Stefan’s asking to see you, Sir York,” Romina said quietly.
Harvey signaled to invite Stefan in before changing into his clothes.
Stefan’s face was a lot less swollen; his aura became a lot more stern as well. However, it was clear from his bloodshot eyes that he didn’t sleep the night before.
“What? Can’t sleep?” Harvey glanced at Stefan before gesturing to him to sit.
“You need patience to do great things. If you can’t even have that, how are you supposed to take control of the situation after that?” Stefan sighed.
“I’ll be frank, Sir York; I’m not confident at all.
“This all happened so suddenly. Me, my teacher, and the Aenar Temple simply aren’t ready yet. The odds aren’t in our favor at all!”
“No opportunity will wait for you to be prepared before showing itself. Taking advantage of the situation is what makes a real man,” Harvey said.
