Harvey York was indifferent when he left the garden villa.

He knew that his words greatly impacted Marcel York.

Marcel probably never thought of letting Queenie York take his position.

After bringing this up, if Marcel were to make the decision, there would surely be a big spectacle playing on the day of Grandma York’s birthday.

Harvey was not interested in that event, but even he wanted to ask Selena Judd for an invitation for that occasion.

After all, such a big show could not be witnessed from just anywhere.

Right when Harvey was pondering over the situation, an unregistered Toyota Alphard suddenly stopped beside him.

After the car door opened, a short-haired woman in a uniform walked out with a cold expression on her face.

She was holding a laptop with many pictures of Harvey inside. After comparing Harvey to the pictures, she calmly asked, “You’re Harvey, yes?

“The Third Lord wants to see you.

“Please get inside the car.”

“The Third Lord?”

Harvey curiously glanced at the woman. Judging from the creases on her uniform, she had probably been waiting here for quite a while…

Just for Harvey to show up. “Which Third Lord?”

“Third Lord York, Noah York himself, of course!” exclaimed the woman coldly.

“Noah York? The head of the third house? “Julian’s father?”

Harvey was perplexed.

“Doesn’t he want me dead? What is he planning here?

“Is he looking for a chance to finish me off?” The woman twitched her eyes. “Third Lord York means no harm. He only wants to have a drink with you,” she replied quietly.

Harvey smiled.

“I highly doubt it. Though, I am curious as to what he will say at such a crucial moment… “Lead the way.” Harvey did not immediately reject the offer. Since he was already involved with the Yorks of Hong Kong, he was destined to cross paths with powerful characters like them.

If Noah took action, it was only appropriate for Harvey to do the same.

The woman did not say another word after hearing Harvey’s response. She gestured to Harvey for him to get inside the car.

Soon after, the car then drove on the quiet streets.

About half an hour later, the car stopped in front of an office building at the edge of downtown.

The woman took Harvey to the top floor before knocking on the doors of the CEO’s office.

The office was not very big. It was only about a thousand square-feet wide.

But in a land of gold like Hong Kong, the building alone would cost at least millions of dollars.

And judging from its exquisite decorations, the place was quite the eye-catcher.

Well-known paintings were hung on the walls. The ceramics and ivories surrounding the place were also all quite valuable.

The yellow flower pear wood couch from Stayport had a faint refreshing smell to it as well, captivating the people around it. Harvey casually sat on the couch and crossed his legs before fiddling with a South American cigar he picked up from the table. The woman seemed slightly enraged before she went further inside the room.

“Third Lord York, he’s here,” said the woman quietly.

“Good. That’s good.” A heartful chuckle could be heard coming from the direction of the office.

After a moment, a man in his fifties wearing gold frame glasses and a couture suit walked out with a cup of coffee in his hand. He seemed elegant but fierce at the same time. Judging from first glance, he was quite the upperclassman.
