Early in the morning the next day, Harvey was informed about the Loxus Consortium’s meeting after waking up in the garden villa.

When Queenie brought Harvey to the company’s meeting room, it was completely full. Aside from Dante and several higher ups, there were a few other people there. The person sitting in the middle was none other than the head of the head house, the CEO and chairman of the Loxus Consortium, Cory York.

He was Vince’s father, and was also quite the big character within the family itself. After seeing Cory’s arrival, Queenie frowned. She felt a sense of hostility that she had never experienced before.

Harvey didn’t feel anything, however. He casually greeted everyone around him without showing much emotion.

“Morning, everyone. Are you all here to witness someone’s hand breaking today?”

“That’s him, Chairman! He’s Harvey York!” Before Cory and the others could speak even a word, Dante stood up and pointed furiously at Harvey. “Queenie ruined my chances to work with Young Master Ishikawa!”

“Harvey then spouted nonsense, saying that I’m useless before threatening to kick me out of the company!”

“I was resentful, so I made a bet against him and let him talk with Young Master Ishikawa for the company’s interests!”

“If he can get the deal with Ishikawa Corporation, I’ll admit defeat!”

“I thought it’d be fine if everything’s for the sake of the company! I did so much for Harvey behind the scenes when I heard that he was going to meet Young Master Ishikawa yesterday afternoon!”

“But who expected that he’d force his hand and hit Young Master Ishikawa’s secretary before chasing Young Master Ishikawa away?!”

“We’re done for! Why would a major figure like Young Master Ishikawa work with us anymore?!”

“That contract’s destined to go to our competitors at this point!”

“That’s why, for the company’s interests, I think we should remove Harvey from his position as a consultant!”

“Queenie naturally isn’t fit for her position, either!”

“If they keep abusing their powers, the company will fall sooner or later because of them!”.

Dante was showing a righteous look “I hope you can put the company before your family, Chairman York!”

“Don’t let Queenie off the hook just because she’s the lord’s daughter!”

“The company prioritizes capable people out of anything!”

Naturally, Dante received some information about yesterday’s contract meeting. However, he didn’t get the entire picture. He only knew about Harvey slapping Taichi in the face, but he didn’t know what happened afterwards.

After all, there were some things that were way beyond his comprehension.

After hearing Dante’s words, the directors and several female higher ups glared disdainfully at Queenie and Harvey.

A few higher ups who had a decent relationship with Dante spoke up for him, saying that Queenie had to be taken down.

After all, these people were quite protective about their money and interests. Harvey displayed absolute strength the other day, but these people wouldn’t sit still if their interests were threatened.
