Cory York was boiling with anger before abruptly leaving while coldly glaring at Harvey York.

Harvey chuckled. Cory had lost his reputation within the company.

It would only be a matter of time before Queenie York took over his place.

Inside the office building at Victoria Harbor, Cory still could not manage to calm himself down.

The teacup in his hand trembled vigorously. Apparently, he was still enraged.

His gaze then shifted toward Vince York before he coldly exclaimed, “I told you so many times already, Vince! Don’t go for Fourth Brother’s people willy-nilly, especially Selena Juda!

“Fourth Brother treasures that woman the most!

“Whatever you do, don’t ever go against her!

“But what happened? Not only did you provoke her, you even got Fourth Brother angry! Now he’s releasing her exceptional daughter just to fight you!

“What are you planning to do?!

“It’s only five days before the damn birthday banquet!

“I can’t believe you got into this big mess…

Other than utter disbelief, Cory could only feel fear after thinking about what had happened.

He did not expect that Harvey and Queenie could break through his well-laid trap so easily… They even managed to get huge benefits out of the company! If this were to continue, Cory’s authority would probably be overshadowed by that girl!

Cory would never accept such a thing!

After seeing Vince put to utter shame, Lexie York put on a slight frown.

“Don’t get mad, Big Brother. Both Vince and I are responsible for this.

“But we didn’t know that the bastard, Harvey, could actually strike a deal with the Ishikawa Corporation that easily!

“Logically speaking, the Islanders would be doing their best to kill off that bastard! Why did they turn out this respectful toward him?! I can’t believe this!”

Cory coldly scoffed.

“They’re not as respectful as you think. They’re using him to deal with the Yorks of Hong Kong, causing major casualties to both sides.

“But the Islanders didn’t expect that Harvey would take such drastic measures and let Queenie sign the contract instead!

“Not only would he leave good impressions to the people who have no sides within the family, but he’d also be able to siphon benefits out of Queenie!

“You people are underestimating this bastard!

“In your documents, he’s just some kid that knows how to fight!.

“But in reality, his business acumen outmatches even some of the most experienced people!”

While Cory was still enraged, he had to acknowledge Harvey’s strengths.

Harvey seemed extremely casual about his moves, but every single step of his plan had been well-thought, fooling the Islanders to the point where they almost had no way to remedy the situation.

Cory felt utterly inferior after realizing this fact.
