“That means… Joseph will most likely shift all the blame to you!” 

“And Harold will think you’re the culprit behind the entire thing?”

Jeff was the one who orchestrated the incident, but after Harvey acted, he felt like he was the one getting schemed on.

“I can tell he really admires you. He’s showing you his sincerity by inviting you to a meal.”
