Harvey raised his head and glanced at Elanor. He chuckled. 

“I have to say, you’re not really treating me as a friend right now.” 

“This was my meeting gift-you’re disrespecting me if you’re giving it back right now.”

Even though Harvey said that, he didn’t seem too surprised.

Elanor showed a stern look when she glanced at the check she put down.

Harvey showed a faint smile when he picked up the check.

She forced out a chuckle. 

“You must be joking. Why would he do something like that when he admires you so much?” 

“Right. There’s no need to stay on topic. That said, are you really content right now, CEO Stanton?” Harvey flashed her a faint smile. 

“After a few years, maybe a decade, you’ll be cast away.” 

“When that happens, everything you have will be owned by a younger woman….” 

“You might just lose your life if you even say something wrong.” 

“You’re a smart woman. Do you really want to accept such a bleak future?” 

Elanor frowned, but she didn’t say a word. 

“Are you really not going to think for yourself? Or rather, aren’t you willing to take a gamble?” 

“If you want to, I’m willing to turn the money into an investment for you.” 

“An investment for Hearthstone Corporation, of course.”
