Bryn grew unhappier after hearing Harvey’s words.

“Do you really think you’re still the representative of the country’s Martial Arts Alliance?

“Let me tell you something! Your badge is completely useless now!

“When you die, I’ll become the new representative!”

Harvey glared at Bryn.

“You don’t have the right, even after training for eight whole lifetimes. Don’t you understand your own limits?”

Harvey glanced at the road when he sensed a strong aura getting closer.

Meanwhile, Bryn was shivering in anger after hearing Harvey’s words. He was just too rude.

Not only did he disrespect her and cripple Clyde and Rhea, her siblings… He never once cared for her identity, either.

He was afraid Harvey would have an excuse to stop the fight if Bryn and the others were to take action.

“Mr. Layton has always treated Zaid as his own son. Because of Harvey, Zaid was crippled! Mr. Layton would surely take out Harvey after that incident.

“We’ll be giving Harvey an excuse to not fight if we cause trouble right now!

“We need him dead!”

Bryn thought about the situation for a moment. “Fine! I’ll listen to you.”

She smiled, then approached Layton and the others.

“Forgive me for coming here so suddenly, Mr. Layton.

“I brought my teacher, the lord of Golden Palace, here. He’d like to invite you to Golden Palace after you deal with your troubles.

“I heard you were hurt by a scumbag, Zaid. I brought some of Golden Palace’s secret medicine for you! Please accept it!”

Bryn waved her hand, and someone brought over heaps of nectar pills.

Layton smiled when Zaid took the gift. Zaid then looked at Harvey from afar, then ran his thumb across his neck.

Alani, Shinsuke, and the others were seen behind Zaid. They glared disdainfully at Harvey.

Alani was leaning beside Zaid with a tender expression; it was clear she had been clinging onto Zaid after she was bailed.

Lance, Clover, and the Gibsons couldn’t be seen. They probably didn’t dare show up, afraid to get themselves involved in the situation if Harvey were to die.

Everyone quickly went over to fawn over Layton.

Only Rachel stood beside Harvey. The difference on both sides were like night and day.
