Harvey sighed.

“You’re halfway to becoming a God of War, yet you’re still here swallowing drugs. Can’t you just let that go?”

Harvey thought he figured out Shinsuke’s strength by now, but the latter was a lot more powerful than anticipated. With Shinsuke’s bloodshot eyes and bloodthirsty expression, there was simply no other explanation.

Harvey knew the Islanders were involved with ninjas, onmyojis, conjurers, and martial artists. They’ve managed to invent all sorts of peculiar things because of all their combined talents.

However, he didn’t think that even someone with extraordinary strength would use drugs.

Still, it was enough to show just how much the Island Nations wanted Country H to fall. They would stop at nothing just to achieve that goal.

“Come!”

Shinsuke glared coldly after seeing Harvey take a step back.

He scoffed, then took another step and wielded his sword again.

The attack was as quick and ruthless as lightning. Shinsuke managed to bring his swordsmanship to the extremes. Every single swing was filled with fierce murderous intent.

To perfect his swings, Shinsuke discarded his defenses. Even if he were to die, he wouldn’t hesitate to take down Harvey first.

Harvey didn’t fight back at all; all he did was occasionally step to the side and back or tilt his head. His movements were nothing much, but he managed to evade every single one of Shinsuke’s attacks at a hair’s length.

Shinsuke’s expression changed after seeing his barrage of attacks completely missing the mark. He quickly rolled on the ground, then swung his sword with an odd stance.

Harvey wasn’t able to evade the attack anymore; he casually flicked his finger a few times before revealing the weakness in Shinsuke’s attack by shaking him around.

Harvey then kicked right at Shinsuke’s chest.

Shinsuke had to guard himself, but the immense force was enough to make him tumble quite a distance. After stumbling off the ground, he looked at Harvey in shock, his eyes twitching.

He knew Harvey was an impressive fighter; after all, a man who defeated a God of War was nothing to be scoffed at.

Even so, he never thought he still couldn’t land a scratch on Harvey after taking the drugs.

“Martial arts is all about balance. Only speed will bring success. You have talent, but your heinous moves wouldn’t be able to reveal your true potential,” Harvey said bitterly.

“That’s normal. Your martial art revels in vicious techniques, so there aren’t a lot of honest moves to learn for you.

“How about this? Since you’re pretty talented, how about I show you how to wield a blade?”

Harvey put his hand out. Rachel pulled out her sword and tossed it to him.

Harvey casually swung the sword around, chuckling. He quickly unsheathed it, and swung it right at Shinsuke.
