“What an honor to have you in this family event, Lola! This is truly a blessing!”

Rohan ignored the rest and approached Lola, his subordinates following him.

“The cooperation agreement between the Hoffman family, the Patel family, and the six Hermit Families will be commenced.

Harvey will be bailed without any charges, too.

“This is all thanks to you! I believe that the others will be grateful to you too after recognizing your efforts.”

Rohan touched Lola’s finger.

He desperately yearned for his first love-his sister, who happened to be pregnant to boot.

He took a deep breath as if he was sucking in all the air around Lola. He finally found his addiction when he wasn’t interested in women in the past.

From the moment he saw Lola, he swore to make her struggle under him.

His body was burning with passion; he was so excited, he was already shivering. If it wasn’t for the occasion, he would’ve pounced right at her by now.

‘Nobody told her to be pregnant. They say a woman like that feels way better compared to a virgin! Why should I hold back, then?’

“I belong to the family as well. It’s only fair,” Lola replied calmly.

She knew exactly what Rohan wanted…but she had no right to reject him.

She knew that if the cooperation agreement failed, the John family would take the deal instead. Whoever had the Hoffman family’s support would instantly tip the scales of the city’s situation.

Thus, she didn’t have the luxury to decline. She had no choice but to abide by the heinous conditions, for the sake of the child.

“When are we signing the contract? I’ll give you what you want.

Consider me tarnished after that,” she said.

Rohan could sense the disdain in her tone, but he didn’t mind at all. It was a pleasure for him to conquer a feisty woman like her.

“Since you’re that impatient …” he said, smiling. “Please. I have already prepared a room for us. We can sign the contract there, and proceed with our deal too. I’m in a good state right now, so I hope you’ll be satisfied.”

Rohan made a gesture after that.

Lola’s expression changed, and she followed Rohan with a gloomy expression.

A few minutes later, the two arrived at a guest room beside the meeting room and sat on quite a spacious couch.

An agreement contract was on the table, together with a stack of papers.

Rohan casually signed the contract, smiling.

“I’m a straightforward man, Lola. This is a finished contract.

“If you sign here on behalf of the Hoffmans, the cooperation agreement will officially be in effect. It’ll be perfectly fine for you to use subcontracts with the Patel family and the other Hermit Families.

“Another thing. Here’s my letter of withdrawal for the police.

Consider this my sincerity. Take a look, and see if there’s anything wrong with it.”
