Leland picked up the phone with an odd look. Then, his expression changed slightly.

A prominent figure from America was on the other side of the phone. The man had been in the Euro-American war before; he was a true God of War. After the war, he decided to retire.

“Is there anything you’d like from me?” Leland asked, gritting his teeth.

“I don’t care how you managed to offend the person in front of you… But you should ask him for forgiveness right now!

“If he doesn’t forgive you, then you should just kill yourself. Not just you, your entire family should just die!”

The call was hung up immediately after that.

‘Ask for forgiveness? Or kill myself? What does he mean?’

Leland couldn’t come to his senses for a long while. He gripped the phone tightly.

He finally realized what those words meant. Even the prominent figure he talked to wouldn’t dare go against the man in front of him.

‘Who is this guy? How is he so impressive?’

No matter the case, Leland knew exactly what he should do. He quickly walked in front of Harvey, and bowed respectfully.

Leland then slapped himself around before leaving with his men.

Harvey clapped before looking around him. “Is there someone else willing to stand up for Rohan?”

The Hoffmans looked at each other with strange expressions.

“You must be mistaken, Sir York! He has no blood relation to the family!”

“That’s right! He’s just an adopted son! He’s been showing off to the point where he thinks he’s actually impressive!”

“Thank you, Sir York! We only found out who’s been hurting the family because of you!”

“How dare that bastard frame you like that? We fully support your act of justice!”

It was clear the crowd knew how to pick sides, since they were all from the same wealthy family.

Before figuring out a man whom even an envoy of the American Embassy wouldn’t dare go against, they would naturally steer clear from him as well.

Besides, Rohan’s status in the family was simply too high.
