“They trust Mr. Trevor Foster, the man who discussed about relocation with them!

“Reconstruction of the old town and land relocation is the government’s most extensive project this year!

“This is also one of the tasks appointed to us by the royal court!

“If we don’t complete the project, our year-end performance will completely go down the drain!

“We already had a deal!

“We were supposed to sign the papers with the people’s representative!

“And then what happened? Mr. Trevor lost his position as the consultant!

“Those people think the government’s fooling with them!

“These people have families! How is everyone going to survive without their year-end bonuses?

“All of this happened because of the consultant you appointed!

“This is your problem!

“If you don’t deal with this, we’ll see how you’ll please the public then!

“Your word will carry no authority!”

Chanse showed a righteous look.

The government officials were showing odd yet playful expressions after hearing Chanse’s remarks.

Everyone could tell that Chanse was trying to make things harder for Kairi.

After all, relocation was supposed to be a task for the land department.

Projects like these were usually challenging to complete, too.

Entire projects would be at a standstill because some people simply would not cooperate.

Chanse spent a few weeks fixing the problem. He even got his father, Mr. Trevor, to help.
