Harvey squinted, staring at the man for a moment. “I don’t think I know you.”

“Of course you don’t. But I know you.”

The man smiled.

“Let me introduce myself. I am Shepard, of Evermore’s twelfth branch.”

He then gave Harvey a name card.

“Here’s my card. Please take it.”

Harvey stared at the card, seeing all sorts of well-known titles in the medical world.

It was clear that this man was well-versed in the medical field. It was only normal that someone like him was involved with Evermore.

“Aleah sent you here?” Harvey asked. “If that’s the case, I can tell you that there won’t be a map, nor there will be a map in the future. Even if there is, I won’t give it to you anyway. Give up already.”

“Heh! Her Holiness threatened you for it?”

Shepard looked at Harvey politely.

Harvey got Castiel to bring some tea and pastries.

“Since you’re that accomplished, why aren’t you able to rise still?”

Harvey asked.

Shepard smiled.

“Normally speaking, the promotion would come sooner or later.

“But a man named Hog had been in that position for many, many years now. That position has not changed for a long time. And since I’m the youngest of the twelve, I’m naturally at the bottom.”

Harvey sipped his tea. “And then, what?”

“Evermore is all around the world. The Lord has always been an unfathomable being. Nobody knows who or where he is right now.

“The Ten Revered and the Twelve Earthly Branches all have their own territory.

“The Coraal Revered, Aleah, operates in Wolsing and the northern part of the country.

“This part of the city belongs to me. Because of this, Aleah had already broken the rules.”

“Speak clearer,” Harvey said.

“You’re a straightforward man.”

Shepard smiled.

“I love working with people like you.

“I’ll be frank, then. I came here to talk to you about Ms. Zimmer’s situation.”

Shepard ignored Harvey’s rage, still smiling.
