Harvey clapped after seeing the woman being so polite. He threw the firearm back to Benson.

“Next time I see you take advantage of people, I’ll kill you,”

he warned.

Benson shivered in fear. Without really understanding why, he believed Harvey’s words.

“Don’t blame them. I got into some trouble recently,” the woman said. “That’s why they’re all very wary.”

She smiled apologetically.

“I’m sorry. I’m Baylee Cobb.”

“You’re too kind.” Harvey looked deep into Baylee’s eyes. ”

You people haven’t been resting well recently. It’s only normal to have a bad temper.”

Baylee froze. “How did you know that?”

“Judging from the scent on your body, someone’s been trying to hunt you down,” Harvey said.

“That person is an expert, too.

“He already showed up a few times, but didn’t do anything to you just yet. Either he injured one of your men, or destroyed your transportation.

“Though it sounds threatening, the damage wasn’t all that serious.

“You people have been on high alert just to defend yourselves against this person. That explains the lack of rest.”

Baylee’s face lost all color. Meanwhile, Benson and the others spoke up in a crackly voice.

“How did you know that?”

“How can I not know? This is just a cat-and-mouse chase,”

Harvey explained.

“The person who wants your life doesn’t want to kill you immediately.

“Whoever it is, he wants you to live every single day in fear, chipping off all of your courage and forcing you to end your own life.

“Impressive move, I have to say!”

Baylee and the others looked horrible after hearing Harvey’s words. Harvey managed to reveal everything they’ve been through recently.

“If you know this much already, then is there a way to track the person back? Baylee asked. “Can you find that person for us?”

“There is,” Harvey replied. “But I have no time…”

A fierce man scoffed. He stepped forward, and glared coldly at Harvey.

“Don’t believe this man, Bay! He might’ve guessed everything by sheer luck!

“He might’ve been sent here by the killer, too! A normal person couldn’t have deduced everything with a straight face!”

Harvey glanced at this man, who seemed quite young.

“Think what you want. Just don’t bother my rest,” he said.

Harvey could tell that Baylee was in deep trouble, but he simply had no time to help.

“You have no right to speak here, Kareem!”

Baylee glared coldly at the man. Then, she looked at Harvey.

“What’s your name?” she asked.

“Harvey York.”

“Can you help me? We’ll do anything for you to help,” she pleaded.

Harvey sighed.

“I really don’t have the time. I’m already about to board the plane…”
