“Looks like even without that ‘someone’ leaving this morning, the Yorks will contact us after all.”

The crowd changed their perspective again, this time turning against Mandy Zimmer.

“Are you sure about that Zack?” Senior Zimmer asked with a frown on his face.

“Of course!” Zack answered as he called Wendy Sorrell and put it on speaker.

“Hello Mister Zimmer.” Wendy’s soft voice came over the speaker.

“Hello Ms. Sorell, I already informed Senior Zimmer about your visit tonight, may I know when you will be arriving?” Zack replied with a smirk.

“No need to cause a scene, I’m only here to hand over some items to you.” Wendy replied.

“With pleasure. Do you need a ride?” Zack offered.

“No need, I have my own transportation, I will arrive around 7 pm.” Wendy replied.

“Okay, we’ll be waiting for your arrival!” Zack answered with a proud look before hanging up the phone.

“Goods? What thing? Could that be the contract?” The crowd was dumbfounded.

“Zack, I remember him telling you to get lost the other day, how come…” Senior Zimmer asked with a surprised look.

“Grandpa, don’t you know what every woman wants is good luck? I’ve sent him several hundred thousand dollar gifts over the past few days, I’m sure he’s fallen in love with me! Don’t forget to let me claim the money back when everything is done grandpa!” Zack replied with a smirk.

“No problem! You can even get the CEO title if you want after you give us the advantage.” Zimmer senior offered.

“Grandpa, you’re being unfair!” Mandy protested as she worked hard to get the deal but in the end, all the glory and recognition went to Zack.

“Fair? Mandy Zimmer, you’re not the only one with something under your sleeve. You only managed to get a useless deal, while I got their manager to avisit! It’s not that I stole your glory, it’s just that you’re not capable enough to keep it.” Zack sneered in an embarrassing tone.
