Senior Zimmer noticed the change in his expression and sighed.

She must be an inexperienced woman to be easily startled. He will be easily swayed.

Zack Zimmer stepped forward with a big smile and held out his hand. “Welcome, manager Sorrell, it is an honor to have you here. Allow me to introduce. This is our family senior…”

Wendy hesitated for a while before smiling and saying, “I’ve already asked another friend to come over. I am not sure if he will accept the dinner invitation.”

Zack’s whole body shuddered at that. The next moment, he dashed towards her. “I didn’t realize it was you, Secretary Xavier. A very warm welcome to you. Please forgive our rudeness for not welcoming you earlier…”

Yvonne Xavier became absent-minded in this situation. It was clear that he wasn’t sure what was going on.

However, they were both invited to the Zimmer family’s Villa even though they were both still confused.

Wendy and Yvonne walked into the hall while still in a state of chaos. They were then shocked to the core. They had not imagined that it would become such a big scene. Zack led the way into the hall and looked around. He said with pleasure in his voice, Ladies and gentlemen, in addition to Manager Sorrell, we are honored to also welcome York Enterprise CEO Secretary, Ms. Yvonne Xavier to our Zimmer family Banquet tonight!”

Many turned their gazes toward Yvonne.

“Come here ladies, your seats are here. We have reserved a special Middle seat at the main table for you.” Senior Zimmer smiled broadly as he stepped forward with his hand in a welcome gesture.

Wendy and Yvonne’s eyes met. They don’t seem to know what to do.
