Prologue

Food nourishes the body, but hobbies appease the hunger of the soul.

Just as you need to eat three meals a day to be healthy.

If you don’t enjoy your hobbies, your soul will eventually become sick.

Some people are passionate about games, while others are passionate about sports such as soccer or basketball. There are literally countless hobbies on earth. Also, a hobby comes to you suddenly one day, like fate.

Even though I have stayed away from something my whole life because I thought it wouldn’t suit me at first glance, there are times when I come across it by chance and fall in love with it. It is chosen from a hobby.

TRPG is my hobby.

Tabletop role-playing game.

For those who don’t know, it’s a super-evolution of RPGs that you played while playing house or drawing in a notebook.

It was a TPRG that I had no choice but to start because my girlfriend, whom I happened to meet when I was in college, recommended it.

I still remember it clearly. My first session was ‘The Lost Mines of Phandelver’ and my first character was ‘Varian’, a barbarian who refers to himself in the third person. The concept was to use leftover mammoth bones as weapons.

Barbarian Varian’s great adventure in the fantasy world was successfully completed after experiencing many twists and turns.

Just as a masterpiece is a masterpiece even if you read it in summary form, you can smell the rich scent of a bad story even if you read it in summary form. Barbarian Barian was captured by the Northern Grand Duke (male/16 years old/boy/sword master/level 20) who suddenly appeared and drowned in feces. I broke up with my girlfriend as soon as the session ended.

After suffering from the pain of heartbreak for a while, I fell in love with a new entertainment called TRPG.

Infinite freedom, the ability to expand your imagination as much as you want, the sense of unity and fulfillment of interacting with others and creating stories…

Sometimes there were villains who took advantage of that infinite freedom to destroy my spirit, but no, there were many. It was a small risk compared to the return.

TRPG My love, my light, my life, my rest, my soul….

My only salvation that will heal my soul tired of a difficult life!

There were many heartbreaking and painful things while playing, but the joy of TRPG was a part of my life.

Even as I was dying after being hit by a car, I thought about TRPG more than anything else.

If there is a next life.

And if I could choose my hobby in my next life.

I wish TRPG once again…

TRPG…

no, I just wish exercise was my hobby in life.

How did I become obsessed with this hobby?

Fuck.
