Katy’s face was completely swollen after she was slapped around a bunch of times. 

The Cobb family were gossiping up a storm at the sight. 

“Katy’s such a troublemaker! She’s already hurt us once by hiding herself in Hong Kong and Las Vegas just because she didn’t want to marry someone!” 

“And then this happens! Does she want the entire family dead?!” 

“Senior Padlow’s really angry because of this! If he breaks off every single collaboration of the Blackburn City Martial Arts Alliance with us, we’ll be losing hundreds and millions of dollars at minimum!” 

“Can Katy even bear the responsibility at this point?” 

“We all call her the master of the head house, but this is how she repays us!” 

The crowd kept shaking their heads. 

A few elders of the houses bore cold expressions; they were naturally disappointed in Katy’s actions. 

Katy took a deep breath. 

“I’ll deal with the supply rights, Eden. Now let them go…

“With what? With your damn face or body?” 

Eden had grown utterly arrogant when he saw that Katy’s arms were still tied up. 

He instantly grabbed Katy’s hair and looked longingly at Katy’s exquisite face. He swallowed his spit, he was desperately trying his best to resist his intrusive thoughts. 

“The family was overjoyed when you returned here. We thought you could finally take over the head house and govern the family, and ensure our glory!” 

“In the end, you’re just the same conceited lady of the house just like before!” 

“You’re not helping the family at all. In fact, you’re destroying it!” 

“Let me tell you something! I already figured out a plan for you a while ago!” 

“As soon as you marry Young Master Padlow, they won’t make us take responsibility anymore!”

Eden let out a wretched chuckle before giving out another warning. 

“That’s right! Just drown her if she doesn’t comply!” 

“As the lady of the Cobb family, she’s humiliating the entire family by announcing that she has a man outside!”

Katy had a deep look on her face and glared at Eden. Right as Eden shot her a prideful smile, she spat furiously, “I’d kill myself before I even marry that damn b*stard!” 

“You’re not going to marry him?!” 

Eden froze. Then, he laughed and gestured to someone to bring a whip over. 

“Well then, we’ll just have to whip the sh*t out of you until you agree!” 

“If you still won’t comply, we’ll just drown you and send your corpse over to the Padlow family! I’m sure they’ll be happy with that!” 

Valery walked over and grabbed the whip out of Eden’s hand, then furiously lashed it all around Katy’s body. 

“How dare you talk back?!” 

“Young Master Padlow’s interested in you! This is a blessing for you….” 

“And yet, you’re declining the offer?!” 

“What right do you have to decline?!” 

Katy’s hands were completely tied up; she had no choice but to endure the pain. The flesh on her body singed badly every single time Valery whipped her. 

Even though her expression showed her agony, she didn’t make a single sound.
