Valery kept whipping Katy; the former’s eyes were filled with resentment and rage.

Panic colored Katy’s face. She gritted her teeth.

“We need a God of War, not some crippled old man!”

Eden dialed a number and made a video call. 

On the other side of the phone, someone had already lifted Dean up while he was unconscious and was bringing a cup of medicine to his mouth.
