Lola’s expression worsened when Riggs showed up. She didn’t think he’d take action for such a small matter.

She was worried about Harvey’s safety. After remembering everything he had done for her, she instinctively stood in front of him.

Rohan looked at her deeply. He realized that pushing Lola around was harder than he thought.

Lola gritted her teeth before taking a step forward. “Hello, Mr.

Riggs. It’s been a while.”

Riggs chuckled.

“You think you can just de-escalate everything by greeting me?

Don’t you realize that the head demands Rohan to be in charge of the event?

“Yet, you brought your men here to cause trouble and disrespect Rohan!

“Well? Do you think the Hoffman family’s not a part of the top ten families anymore? Do you think we’re powerless? Do you think our reputation’s just a joke?”

Riggs was clearly unhappy.

“It’s just a small misunderstanding, Mr. Riggs! We can deal with this ourselves! You don’t have to do anything! I’ll get Harvey to apologize!” Lola said.

Rohan frowned. “Well, Mr. Riggs is here now!”

“Don’t you know that I was happily drinking in the back, about to have some fun with my women?” Riggs barked.

“It’s a huge crime to ruin my mood like this! Even if you belong to the family, you won’t be let off the hook that easily!

“How about this? Just have a drink with me, and I’ll let this go!

Remember to kneel in front of the kid’s doorstep for three whole days as well!”

Riggs licked his lips, a greedy look on his face.

Though he was from the Hoffman family, he wasn’t related to the family by blood. He wouldn’t mind de-escalating things if it meant that he could toy with a wealthy lady like Lola.

Rohan’s gaze lit up, and he smiled.

“Since Mr. Riggs spoke up, I’m afraid that unless your little kept man can help you… Nobody else here can!”

Rohan didn’t want to end things that easily. Since Riggs had shown himself, it’d be a waste for Harvey to leave the place with his two legs intact!

Realizing that, he didn’t hesitate to fan the flames.

Lola’s face turned ugly.

“You people are just rats, aren’t you? How can you two be so shameless?”

“How about this?” Harvey said. “Since you’re being this way too, you should just kneel with Rohan. If you do, I’ll forgive you for speaking to Lola like that. If not, then I don’t care who you are- you don’t get a pass just because you have a high status!”

Naturally, Harvey didn’t fear Riggs at all.

Lola froze; Saul was the only person who could give her such a sense of security…

She didn’t think she’d be able to find the same thing from her sworn brother. She could tell what Harvey’s stance was; there was no point in stopping him.
