Half an hour later, Harvey showed up at Sterling City.

Sterling City was where the rich would spend their money.

Ordinary people had no right to enter. Even if they did, they’d be completely out of place.

Out of everyone there, Billie had quite the attention on her.

She and her friends were beautiful, dressed in luxurious brands and caked with gorgeous makeup.

“Billie.”

After seeing the three, Harvey came over to greet Billie. He was used to wearing simple clothing, so he seemed completely out of place compared to the overdressed women.

Billie casually glanced at Harvey before replying in a stiff tone.

The air tensed up instantly. Behind Billie, Aliza and Judith were glaring at Harvey with cold and judgmental eyes.

“You’re Harvey?” Aliza said with her arms crossed, taking a step forward.

She looked like princess, glaring at Harvey like he was a dog.

“That’s right,” Harvey said. He recognized the woman in front of him.

“There’s something I should tell you immediately. Do you think you can get with a goddess like Billie? Do you even have the right?

“Do you know just how many people have been pursuing her?

You can’t even come up with the numbers for that! Do you get it? You have no background, talent, or even the looks!

“Yet here you are, at the welcoming party to be Billie’s partner? Who gave you the courage?”

Aliza was showing blatant disdain.

“Enough, Aliza!”

Billie glared at Aliza, thinking that she had spoken too much.

Harvey rolled his eyes. ‘They think I’m interested in a child like her?’

He was just about to turn away… But after remembering that he had to blend in, he decided to speak up despite his disinterest.

“Don’t worry. I’m only here to keep Billie safe because Uncle Harlan said so. I have no interest in pursuing her, nor am I interested in her in any way whatsoever,” he said bluntly.

Billie frowned after hearing Harvey’s casual tone.

“Aliza was just being nice. Don’t mind her,” she said.

‘Being nice? The other Harvey would’ve jumped into the sea by now if he wasn’t strong enough.’

Well, Harvey didn’t mind at all.

He smiled, then started looking around the place with admiration.

Billie started to get a headache after seeing Harvey’s fearless appearance.

At this moment, a group of people showed up outside Sterling City.

A man in a white shirt, his face greasy and covered in makeup, was leading the group. He approached Billie and her posse with a smile.

“You’re here, my honeys! Come on, the dance is about to start!” he said.
